Upper Gallinas Campground is a pleasant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Black Range. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the Black Range. City of Rocks State Park is both great and wonderful, and it's right next door to Upper Gallinas Campground, and a gorgeous lake like Upton Cabin Well is a pleasant place to take a look at.
