| | Slide Campground is located in the Sacramento Mountains. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Sacramento Mountains. Going for a hike on the Osha Trail is always a nice adventure; Deerhead Canyon is a great site to visit. Slide Campground gets very little rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; April meanwhile is the driest month. This campground is so great. Slide Campground is a location with many visitors from Cloudcroft; charming scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Ski Apache. Loads of people |

For you golfers we recommend nearby Timberon Golf Course, and don't leave without dropping by Lincoln National Forest. Finally, camping season is here once more, and Slide Campground, New Mexico is a good spot for getting out. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Slide Campground.
