The surroundings of this campground have such a large number of things to offer. The landscape around Pine Flats Campground is dominated by the Pinos Altos Range, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Signal Peak Trail. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available
in the neighborhood such as swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so probably you want to stick around for a while. All year is a glorious time in the Black Range if you like the outdoors. If time allows, Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is a national park worth
going to, and the Black Peak Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. The warmest time of the year at Pine Flats Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's with
temperatures at Pine Flats Campground dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Pine Flats Campground is close to City of Rocks State Park which is a beautiful spot, and close by you come across the Snow Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. Quite a lot of cool
stuff to do next to Pine Flats Campground, and when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel completely regenerated. Pine Flats Campground is fantastically popular with people from Gila.
