There's such a large number of things to do next to Panchuela Campground, and you always have a pleasant time when you're here. Panchuela Campground gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls all through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Santa Cruz, and of course, all our national parks are nice locations to stop at and Santa Fe National Historic Trail is no exception. This campground is so tremendous. There is a magnificent hiking trail in
close proximity to Panchuela Campground called the Rio Capulin Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Grande. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Panchuela Campground. There are some great
whitewater spots on Rio Embudo, and you can go for a hike on the Agua Sarca Trail. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. A splendid place like Santa Fe National Forest close to Panchuela Campground is too magnificent to leave out, and the Rio Medio Trail is a splendid
hiking trail nearby. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Don't leave Panchuela Campground without first going for a hike along the Rio Molino Trail, and visiting Hyde Memorial State Park is a nice thing to do. Panchuela Campground is enormously popular with the people of Tererro.
