Don't leave Panchuela Campground without going to Santa Fe National Forest, and don't leave Panchuela Campground without first going for a hike along the Rio Medio Trail. It is very dried out here at Panchuela Campground typically; throughout August this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
