Panchuela Campground, Sangre De Cristo Mountains, New Mexico

  The wonderful variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Santa Fe; you're sure to stumble upon some fine people from Tererro here. Summer at Panchuela Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Panchuela Campground plunge into the 10's.

    next door to Santa Fe National Forest. This camp ground is to be found in the pretty Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
It's been too much time since you went outside, you've gotta get out, and Panchuela Campground, New Mexico is a pleasant location for getting out. Going for a hike
on the Winsor Trail is always a splendid adventure; Jacks Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit.
There's such a large number of things to do next to Panchuela Campground, and you always have a pleasant time when you're here. Panchuela Campground gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls all through August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Some activities here at Panchuela Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so in all probability you want to stick around for a while. Just can't get enough
 
of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Santa Cruz, and of course, all our national parks are nice locations to stop at and Santa Fe National Historic Trail is no exception. This campground is so tremendous. There is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Panchuela Campground called the Rio Capulin Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Grande.
And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Panchuela Campground. There are some great whitewater spots on Rio Embudo, and you can go for a hike on the Agua Sarca Trail. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. A splendid place like Santa Fe National Forest close to Panchuela Campground is too magnificent to leave out, and the Rio Medio Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Don't leave Panchuela Campground without first going for a hike along the Rio Molino Trail, and visiting Hyde Memorial State Park is a nice thing to do. Panchuela Campground is enormously popular with the people of Tererro.
