Paliza Campground is a campground esteemed by folks of Ponderosa. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. From Paliza Campground you acquire a fine vista of Borrego Mesa, and there's great hiking along the Canada Capulin Trail.

the summer months highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Paliza Campground dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This is in fact a nice campground. If you don’t have
a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jemez River, and going for a hike on the Padre Alonzo Trail is always a good adventure. Pajarito Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff; you can go for a hike on the Bland Bear Springs Trail.
All the
great local attractions in the vicinity and the great variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. If spending too much time indoors got you down, No cause for concern; Paliza Campground is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in New Mexico. Yeah, come
up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a nice time. At Paliza Campground you always meet someone from Ponderosa, and don't leave Paliza Campground without first going for a hike along the Capulin Trail.
This camp ground is located in the beautiful San Juan and Jemez
Mountains. Paliza Campground is regularly a relatively dry place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and May on the other hand is the driest.
