Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Overlook Campground; Rio en Medio Trail is a good local trail; if you come at the right time of year, Rio Embudo offers some pleasant whitewater.

Ski Santa Fe is a very popular ski area close at hand. There's some interesting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Santa Cruz Reservoir Dam in close proximity to Overlook Campground, and Overlook Campground is a site with many visitors from Chimayo. Santa Fe National Forest is a great

Ok, you've been indoors for too much time, time has come to get out, and Overlook Campground in New Mexico is a splendid place to go. There's more to do right next door to Overlook Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This campground is so scenic. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Santa Cruz, and good hiking is available along the Rio Frijoles Trail.
