Northlake Campground, New Mexico

  Some activities here at Northlake Campground are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Santa Fe National Historic Trail is a great spot near Northlake Campground, and there's great hiking along the Rio en Medio Trail. There are delightful places to look at along the Medio Dia Trail; there's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline people. Some folks camp here to be in the neighborhood of Santa Fe National Forest.
The surroundings of this campground have such a large number of things to offer.
    A quick trip to Rio Medio close to Northlake Campground is a great idea; there are some great whitewater spots on Rio Santa Cruz.
If you crave a little side spree, try La Caja, and great hiking is available along the Agua Sarca Trail. This campground is so great. Ski Santa
Fe is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Lakes? Sure, Santa Cruz Lake is close at hand.
So many local attractions and such a pleasant variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back many times. It's just not possible to run out of exciting stuff to do close to Northlake Campground; it is a pleasant escape from the mundane. Eager to pitch that tent of yours; Northlake Campground is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in New Mexico.

paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Embudo. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Northlake Campground. The scenery at Santa Cruz Reservoir Dam right next door to Northlake Campground is pretty; Bandelier National Monument is a very great place to check out.
All through the summertime at Northlake Campground highs are usually in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows at Northlake Campground through the winter generally drop into the 10's.
If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Northlake Campground. Lots of folks from Chimayo come to Northlake Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Rio Frijoles Trail. Going for a hike on the Sierra Mosca Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Santa Fe National Forest is a glorious location to stretch your legs a bit.
In New Mexico you never run out of outdoors exciting stuff. Northlake Campground gets very little precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February.
