    Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Embudo.
For the duration of the long summer days at Northlake Campground highs are typically in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime
highs through the winter are in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Northlake Campground. Northlake Campground is close to Santa Cruz Reservoir Dam which is a pretty location definitely worth stopping at, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Santa Fe while you're here. You just have to go for Northlake Campground. There's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you're looking for a great tour, Bandelier National Monument is reasonably near.
Go for a hike on the Agua Sarca Trail; you'll meet a lot
 
of folks from Chimayo here. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. Don't leave Northlake Campground without first going for a hike along the Rio en Medio Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Rio Santa Cruz offers some pleasant whitewater.
Loads of folks camp here in order to be close to Santa Fe National Forest. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact abundant here at Northlake Campground. Near Northlake Campground you discover the Medio Dia Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Rio Medio. The tremendous variety of local attractions and so much stuff to do will definitely have you coming back over and over.
At Northlake Campground cool stuff to do is abundant, and spending time at this campground is fantastically pleasant. Going for a hike on the Rio Frijoles Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and don't leave without dropping by Hyde Memorial State Park.
It is very dried up here at Northlake Campground generally; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. While staying at Northlake Campground you could always discover La Caja, and dropping by Santa Fe National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
Among the things you can do near Northlake Campground are swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t get bored.
