The great local attractions and such a great deal of things
| to do are good motives to come. Soar down the rapids of Rio Chama in a kayak, and you're sure to come across some nice people from Counselor here. Don't leave Nacimiento Campground without first going for a hike along the Rito Anastacio.
A visit to New Mexico is not complete without some camping. Go for a hike on the Los Pinos Trail, and a great place like Vallecito Damian here at Nacimiento Campground is too good to miss.

so it's just not possible to get bored. This campground is a pleasant location to have a look at. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Jemez River, and San Gregorio Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Nacimiento Campground. Nacimiento Campground is liked by folks of Counselor.
So many fun things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. The view of Nacimiento Peak from Nacimiento Campground is picturesque, and delightful hiking is available along the Perchas Trail. During the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Nacimiento
Campground. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; night lows during the wintertime for Nacimiento Campground tend to be in the 0's. There's no way someone can get bored here in the San Juan and
Jemez Mountains. Fenton Lake State Park is both great and lovely, and it's near Nacimiento Campground, and going for a hike on the Clear Creek Trail is always a fine adventure.
Lots of folks select Nacimiento Campground so they can go to Fenton Lake State Park. Nacimiento Campground is pretty dry frequently; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is April.
