Mora Campground is a location that is reasonably dry frequently; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The great variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. At this campground you will always have a good time. lows during the winter for Mora Campground tend to be in the 10's. Going for a hike on the Rio Medio Trail is always a tremendous adventure; Santa Fe National Historic Trail is a very delightful location to stop at. This campground is a wonderful site to go to. Don't leave
Mora Campground without first going for a hike along the Winsor Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Rio Embudo. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Good hiking is available along
the Norski Cross Country Ski Track, and if you come at the right time of year, Pecos River offers some wonderful whitewater. There's splendid hiking along the Big Tesuque Trail, and drift down the rapids of Rio Santa Cruz in a kayak. There's more to do next to Mora Campground
other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored. Mora Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the people from Tererro. New Mexico is a fine outdoors state.
