McMillan Campground, Black Range, New Mexico   As if McMillan Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. The great local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. This campground has everything. Gila National Forest is a magnificent place, and going for a hike on the Lookout Trail is always a good adventure. Don't leave McMillan Campground without first going for a hike along the Sawmill Wagon Road Trail, and locations like City of Rocks State Park are fine to go to. At McMillan Campground you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is July while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the Black Range. For the period of the warm months here at McMillan Campground, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at McMillan Campground.
