    58 ski trails of Red River are all enjoyable and are served by 7 good ski lifts. The vertical drop is 1,600 feet, and this ski area receives 18 feet of beautiful snow per season. The intermediate or beginner ski trails account for
  70% of the ski trails at Red River; no wonder this ski area is such a delightful site. The red and black ski trails make up 30% of the 290 acres of skiable area at Red River. There are 110 trails to choose from and 13 ski lifts at the close by ski hill Taos. Taos gets covered by on average 25 feet of fluffy snow annually and has a great 2,612-foot drop from top to bottom.
