Taos, the nearby ski hill has a vertical drop of 2,612 feet; this ski hill has 13 lifts, and 25 feet of wonderful snow per winter covering its 110 runs. Taos has 1,294 acres to ski on; 49% of the runs are intermediate or beginner which is delightful for novices; 51% of the runs are red and black.
