Lower Hondo Campground is right by the Number 3 Lift Trail; lakes are such serene locations, why not stop by Cow Lake. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lower Hondo Campground are in the 0's. Among the things you can do in the neighborhood of Lower Hondo Campground are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.
