La Vinateria Campground, New Mexico

  At La Vinateria Campground you don’t see much precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is January. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sipapu Ski, and Red River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. All the delightful local attractions nearby and the nearby outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back over and over.
You can run the rapids of Rio Grande next to La Vinateria Campground; don't leave La Vinateria Campground without first going for a hike along the
    Kit Carson Trail.
There's tremendous hiking along the Burnt Ridge Trail. Camping in New Mexico is such an enjoyable thing to do.
La Vinateria Campground is a very popular campground with folks in Taos Ski Valley. There's whitewater on Rio Pueblo de Taos for all you adrenaline
junkies, and Cruz Canyon is a splendid place to spend some time.
This is a wonderful campground. Go for a hike on the Simpson Memorial Trail, and going for a hike on the Devisadero Peak Loop Trail is always a nice adventure. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at La Vinateria Campground reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at La Vinateria Campground temperatures descend to the 0's. There is so much exciting stuff
 
near La Vinateria Campground, and it is a fine campground.
Among the things you can do in close proximity to La Vinateria Campground are fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. At La Vinateria Campground you always meet someone from Taos Ski Valley, and Cimarron Canyon State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around La Vinateria Campground; North End Trail is a tremendous local trail; when you're here it's always fun to have a look at Coyote Creek State Park. A campground like this is too wonderful to miss. Talpa Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore; from La Vinateria Campground you obtain a great view of Devisadero Peak.
