Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at La Sombra Campground fall into the 0's. Don't leave La Sombra Campground without first going for a hike along the Kit Carson Trail; Cerrito Colorado is clearly visible from La Sombra Campground. Everybody loves Coyote Creek State Park, and a great location to explore is Casias Canyon. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came.

Go for a hike on the Devisadero Peak Loop Trail, and Rio Pueblo de Taos is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. Can't wait to raise that tent of yours; La Sombra Campground is a good local campground if you happen to be in New Mexico. This campground has it all. During your journey
to La Sombra Campground you'll meet some folks from Taos Ski Valley for sure; why not take a refreshing hike along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. La Sombra Campground is positioned in a vicinity with scores of amusing stuff to do, and it is a fun spot for the whole family. It
is very waterless here at La Sombra Campground ordinarily; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. La Sombra Campground is an old favorite with the residents of Taos Ski Valley. In New Mexico you never run out of outdoors amusing stuff.
