La Sombra Campground, New Mexico

  While stopping by this vicinity in New Mexico it's a great idea to go camping too. La Sombra Campground is a location that is relatively dried up regularly; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. You clearly must fancy La Sombra Campground. Cimarron Canyon State Park is both tremendous and lovely, and it's close to La Sombra Campground; the Burnt Ridge Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.

Hit the slopes at Taos nearby, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Simpson Memorial Trail. Here at La Sombra Campground there are plenty of people from Taos Ski Valley, and don't miss out on a trip to Fort Union National Monument while you're here.
La Sombra Campground is loved by people in Taos Ski Valley. Float down the rapids of Rio Pueblo de Taos in a kayak, and the sight of beautiful Cerrito Colorado is splendid. Summertime highs at La Sombra Campground regularly
 
tend to be in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at La Sombra Campground dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
Coyote Creek State Park is a perfect place to go to on a lovely day, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Kit Carson Trail. At this campground you will always have a good time. Casias Canyon is a fine spot to discover, and nearby you stumble on the Twining Blue Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail.
