Juniper Campground, San Juan Mountains, New Mexico

  Camping out really is a fun thing to do, and Juniper Campground in New Mexico is a nice selection. There are so many cool things in close proximity to Juniper Campground, and it really is a nice campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the San Juan Mountains. Going for a hike on the Frijoles Stone Lions Trail is always a great adventure; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pajarito Mountain since you're here.
The San Juan Mountains scenery is always scenic. In New Mexico you never run out of outdoors entertaining
    things.
There's such a great deal of things to do at Juniper Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. This campground has so unbelievably much. Bandelier National Monument is a good place right next door to Juniper Campground,
and a visit to Santa Fe National Forest revitalizes the spirit. Around Juniper Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February.
If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Juniper Campground called the Cochiti Frijoles Trail; Santa Fe National Historic Trail is a very splendid spot to stop at.
If you're visiting Juniper Campground from Los Alamos, you won't be the only
 
one, and here at Juniper Campground you can see Frijoles Mesa. Don't leave Juniper Campground without first going for a hike along the Bland Frijoles Trail, and paddling on Rio Chama is so much fun.
So much cool stuff in the San Juan Mountains, just fantastic. There's magnificent hiking along the Alamo Springs Trail, and Rio Grande has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are truly abundant here at Juniper Campground. There are wonderful places to look at along the Capulin Canyon Trail, and drift down the rapids of Rio Santa Cruz in a kayak. Juniper Campground is a very popular campground among people in Los Alamos.
So many local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are certain to keep you coming back time and again. High temperatures at Juniper Campground during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Juniper Campground are in the 10's.
