Of the 280 acres of skiable territory 30% is challenging; there's something for everyone at Pajarito Mountain. While you're here at Juniper Campground, you could also stop at lovely Los Alamos Reservoir. Head up to Pajarito Mountain and strap some skis
 
to your feet, and great hiking is available along the Alamo Springs Trail. This campground is so picturesque. Places like Santa Fe National Forest are wonderful to go to, and going to Santa Fe National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
