great little tour to Mallette Creek, and Cimarron Canyon State Park is a wonderful place to go. Don't leave June Bug Campground without first going for a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail, and nice hiking is available along the Simpson Memorial Trail. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable
things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Rio Grande; since you're here, you could also stop by lovely Fawn Lakes. It's totally impossible to get bored in New Mexico if you go for the outdoors. There's so many things to do
in close proximity to June Bug Campground; when you're here you're always having a delightful time. High temperatures at June Bug Campground through the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in
the 30's, and nighttime lows at June Bug Campground through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 0's. If you crave a little side journey, try Graveyard Canyon; float down the rapids of Rio Grande in a kayak.
