Goathill Campground, Sangre De Cristo Mountains, New Mexico

  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, you need to get out, and Goathill Campground in New Mexico is a really fine spot to spend some time. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Since you're here at Goathill Campground why not go to Goathill Gulch, and the Lost Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Some of the things you can do here at Goathill Campground are swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
This campground is so picturesque. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on
    Rio Grande, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Goathill Campground; Twining Blue Lake Trail is a glorious local trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Taos is in the vicinity of Goathill Campground; you must beyond doubt explore Eagle Rock while you're here.

Campground is often visited by the residents of Questa. A trip to Cimarron Canyon State Park revitalizes the soul, and there's some flowing water close by, Columbine Creek is a stream you can pop by while here.
This is truly a great campground. Goathill Campground is right by the Burnt Ridge Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Red River. As long as you adore the outdoors you will adore New Mexico. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in close proximity to Goathill Campground.

up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a great time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Simpson Memorial Trail, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Eagle Rock Lake. This is a popular place for people from Questa; delightful hiking is available along the Number 3 Lift Trail.
The glorious selection of local attractions, and the glorious variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back over and over. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Everybody loves Coyote Creek State Park, and there's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline kick people. Goathill Campground is pretty dried out ordinarily; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January.
This camp ground is to be found in the picturesque Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Summertime highs at Goathill Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Goathill Campground through the wintertime typically fall into the 0's. Goathill Campground is to be found in a neighborhood with scores of enjoyable things to do, and spending time at this campground is incredibly fun.
