every winter; it has 69 trails, 7 lifts, and a fine 1,725-foot drop. On Pecos River you come upon the close by Pecos to Tecolotito section. This is a class II-III, 44-mile-long segment of whitewater. The Pecos to Tecolotito section of Pecos River is fitting for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for some time but who are not yet prepared for the incredibly hazardous rapids.
