At Fawn Lakes Campground you could get a more excellent wilderness experience than you would get at a more civilized campground. The natural splendor at this primitive campground is good, and obviously services are few in a primitive campground such as this. As if Fawn Lakes Campground wasn't enough, you can also go playing golf, fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

    it can be challenging to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort.

area are blanketed by intermediate or beginner slopes. 25 feet of snow fall per year on the 2,612-foot drop of Taos, the close by ski hill.
