  Quite a lot of fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Elephant Rock Campground, and when you're here you're always having a tremendous time. New Mexico is a tremendous spot for outdoors folks. Elephant Rock Campground is a location that is quite dry ordinarily; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

So many cool things in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, just mind-blowing. Glide down the rapids of Rio Grande in a kayak, and there's good hiking along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. You truly
    can't spend too much time indoors; you've gotta get out now and then, and Elephant Rock Campground in New Mexico is exactly the spot. This is such a lovely campground. The cheerful people of Cerro like to hang out close by; a spree to Cimarron Canyon State Park is a nice idea.
Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Elephant Rock Campground. Playing golf is lots of fun at Red Eagle Golf Course; hiking is a popular thing to do around Elephant Rock Campground; Lost Lake Trail is a glorious local trail. This campground is always a pleasure. A perfect place near Elephant Rock Campground is Bonito Canyon, and the Burnt Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Elephant Rock Campground, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, generally in  
the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Elephant Rock Campground.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Gotta ski! Red River is a brilliant place to do that; there are some great whitewater spots on Rio Grande. Elephant Rock Campground is a popular spot with people in Cerro.
Elephant Rock Campground is a splendid camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The delightful selection of local attractions, and such a great deal of things to do will beyond doubt have you coming back persistently. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Simpson Memorial Trail, and if you're keen on cool geologic traits try Elephant Rock.
Black Mountain can be observed from Elephant Rock Campground, and tremendous hiking is available along the Number 3 Lift Trail. Fawn Lakes is a great lake near Elephant Rock Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Red River offers some good whitewater. There's more to do in the neighborhood of Elephant Rock Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, swimming, playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.
