Elephant Rock Campground, Sangre De Cristo Mountains, New Mexico   This camp ground is one of the tremendous sites to camp here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes. Fawn Lakes is a lake close at hand; paddling on Red River is so much fun. Such a great choice of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are tremendous causes to come. It is very dry here at Elephant Rock Campground ordinarily; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Elephant Rock Campground is an old favorite with people of Cerro. So     many enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Elephant Rock Campground, and you always have a glorious time when you're here. This campground is a fine site to stop at. Have a good hiking adventure along the Simpson Memorial Trail, and Bonito Canyon is positively a good site to visit. There's such a large number of things to do at Elephant Rock Campground including fishing, hiking, swimming, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay for a while. Rio Grande has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Red River. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has it all. This is a popular site for folks from Cerro, and you should without doubt check out Elephant Rock while here. With such   a great deal of things to do in New Mexico you'll never get bored. Loads of fun is at this campground. Black Mountain is a peak you can spot from Elephant Rock Campground; get wet paddling on Rio Grande. If you're feeling down from spending too much time indoors, No need to worry; Elephant Rock Campground in New Mexico is a glorious spot to go. This place is peerless, just look at all the entertaining things to do right next door to Elephant Rock Campground. Golf can be played at Red Eagle Golf Course; a trip to Cimarron Canyon State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Twining Blue Lake Trail, and the Number 3 Lift Trail offers hiking at its best. Any time is a great time at Elephant Rock Campground if you have a thing about the outdoors. High temperatures at Elephant Rock Campground through the warm months are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Elephant Rock Campground. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
