El Porvenir Campground, Sangre De Cristo Mountains, New Mexico   El Porvenir Campground is a very popular campground with people in Montezuma. The nice local attractions and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at El Porvenir Campground. Really fine skiing awaits you at Sipapu Ski. Summer brings highs in the 70's to El Porvenir Campground, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at El Porvenir     Campground fall into the 10's. At El Porvenir Campground amusing stuff to do is abundant, and when you're here you're always having a good time. This sector of New Mexico is always a delight to stop at throughout camping season. So much entertaining stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, just incredible. Everybody loves Morphy Lake State Park, and the top of Hermit Peak is easily observed from El Porvenir Campground. This is such a fun spot for a campground. You're sure to come across some great people from Montezuma here, and a trip to Storrie Lake State Park invigorates the soul. El Porvenir Campground is generally a rather waterless place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. El Porvenir Campground is one of the spots to   camp here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Loads of people stay at this campground in order to be near Storrie Lake State Park. Nearby Canovas Canyon is a great place to go if you're at El Porvenir Campground; the Divide Trail offers hiking at its best. You've got to get out of the house, and El Porvenir Campground in New Mexico is just the spot. As if El Porvenir Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's just not possible to get bored. There's whitewater on Pecos River for all you adrenaline junkies, and there's magnificent hiking along the Gascon Trail.
