Dipping Vat Campground, San Francisco Mountains, New Mexico   For the period of the summer highs here at Dipping Vat Campground reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. At last, camping season is here again; Dipping Vat Campground is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in New Mexico. Just can't get enough of the San Francisco Mountains. Going for a hike on the Iron Creek Mesa Trail is always a nice adventure, and Snow Canyon is also a good place to look at. Dipping Vat Campground gets very little precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and May meanwhile is the driest month. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. There is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Dipping Vat Campground called the Clayton Mesa Trail, and at Snow Lake Dam right next door to Dipping Vat Campground there are some exciting things to see. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Dipping Vat Campground. There are glorious places to discover along the Middle Fork Trail; get drenched paddling on Gila River.
