In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Red River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Number 3 Lift Trail. Cow Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Head up to Taos and strap some skis to your feet, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Devisadero Peak Loop Trail.
