| | Comales Campground is prized by folks from Llano. The Osha Trail offers hiking at its best, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Rio Embudo. This is really a magnificent campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Comales Trail, and Morphy Lake State Park is both delightful and wonderful. Such a magnificent selection of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Indian Creek is a nice local stream. If
| you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Comales Campground. There's tremendous hiking along the North End Trail, and drift down the rapids of Rio Pueblo de Taos in a kayak. This campground is so scenic. You can never get enough of the fine skiing at Sipapu; when you're here it's always fun to go to Coyote Creek State Park. in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Take a hike on the West Fork Angostura Trail; a perfect place is Osha Canyon. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Lakes are perfect; Indian Lake is a lake that's near Comales Campground;
don't leave Comales Campground without first going for a hike along the Comales Sheep Driveway. Around Comales Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while January is mostly the driest month. New Mexico is a glorious place for outdoors people.
