All the outdoors amusing things in the Sacramento Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Good hiking is available along
the North Eagle Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sacramento Mountains. Don't leave Cedar Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Wet Mills Trail, and a fine place is North Fork Canyon. This camp ground is one of the perfect places to camp here in the Sacramento Mountains.
Cedar Creek Campground is often visited by the people in Ruidoso. New Mexico has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers.

Creek Campground commonly tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Cedar Creek Campground all through the wintertime mostly drop into the 20's.
This is such a fine campground. Going for a hike on the Cedar Creek Trail is always a delightful adventure, and a wonderful lake like Ruidoso Reservoir is a fine place to explore. Around Cedar Creek Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There are glorious locations to discover along the Dry Mills Trail; naturally North Fork Cedar Creek is a pretty stream that is worth visiting.
