Buzzard Park Campground, San Juan and Jemez Mountains, New Mexico

  So much fun stuff close to Buzzard Park Campground, and it's always fun to be at this campground. Among the things you can do near Buzzard Park Campground are whitewater paddling, and relaxing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. A visit to New Mexico is not complete without some camping. The good local attractions and such a large number of things to do are tremendous incentives to come.

You might want to pay a visit to Buzzard Canyon since you're here at Buzzard Park Campground, and drift down the rapids of Piedra River
    in a kayak. Buzzard Park Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Buzzard Park Campground gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month of the year is June. Summer brings highs in the 80's
to Buzzard Park Campground, and the night is rather cooler of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Buzzard Park Campground.
All year is a fine time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you like the outdoors. A fine site like Navajo State Park close to Buzzard Park Campground is too nice to leave out, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Piedra River. This campground is so great. A spree to Buzzard Park Campground wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Navajo Lake State Park;
 
paddling on Navajo River is so much fun.
