Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Maruche Lake next to Aspen Campground, and a trip to Lincoln National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. While visiting this area in New Mexico it's a great idea to go camping for a couple of days too.

Aspen Campground is an old favorite with the folks from Cloudcroft.
Some of the things you can do here at Aspen Campground are hiking, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Aspen Campground. So much enjoyable stuff in the Sacramento Mountains, just incredible. Hiking along the Osha Trail is brilliant fun, and you certainly must visit Oliver Lee Memorial State Park while you're here.
