for a hike along the East Royce Trail, and you'll probably meet some people from Center Conway here. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saco River - East Branch; as expected Basin Brook flows through this area.
Go for a hike on the White
Cairn Trail; Charles Ravine is also a great site to look at. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Cold River Campground. Do set aside some time for The Basin if you're here at Cold River Campground, and do have a look at Basin Brook Reservoir, it's a delightful lake.
Some activities here at Cold River Campground are swimming, playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so in all probability you want to stick around.
Loads of folks stay at this campground in order to be close to White Mountain National Forest.
