| | Sharps is the place to go if you want fun. Their outfitter isn't the newest, most fancy, thing on the Niobrara, but they've been at it for many years and they know what they're doing. The owners are very laid back and are not pushy at all. They kind of remind me of my experience in Jamaica (''no worries'', just enjoy). This place is one of the most adult beverage tolerant places in the area, which I hear is a commodity in those parts. One thing to remember if you go here is that you need to trust them. Just when you think they forgot about you, they drive |
up.
I highly suggest this camping area and outfitter if you aren't uptight and/or extremely schedule oriented.
Just go, relax, and enjoy the great weather.

There are good spots to look at along the North River Trail, and you'll meet a lot
| of people from Sparks here.; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This campground is a wonderful site to stop by. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Berry Bridge Creek, and O'Kief Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out.

Sharps Campground during the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's. Going for a hike on the Smith Falls Trails is always a tremendous adventure, and don't miss out on a tour to Niobrara National Scenic River since you're here.
