All the water falling down from the sky makes Pine Mountain Campground a wet site; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is December. Pine Mountain Campground is extremely well loved by folks from Granite Falls. There are some good whitewater spots on
Yadkin River, and at Pine Mountain Campground you always meet someone from Granite Falls. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. South Mountain State Park is both nice and stunning, and it's in close proximity to Pine Mountain Campground, and good skiing awaits you at Appalachian Mountain.
