Black Mountain Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina

  Me and my family have camped here only 2 times and we LOVE IT! This will be our camping place forever. I had not found a camp ground as wonderful as this one. If you have not camped here you are missing out. Says Pamela

So many entertaining things near Black Mountain Campground, and it is a very great campground. A spree to Lake James State Park revitalizes the spirit,
    and you'll meet a lot of people from Burnsville here. Black Mountain Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The pleasant variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great reasons to come.

Black Mountain Campground is a reasonably wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain while December is commonly the driest month. At this campground you will always have a splendid time. A number of people choose this campground so they can go to Mount Mitchell State Park.
Black Mountain Campground is a very popular campground with the residents of Burnsville. Near Black Mountain Campground you stumble on Dicks Gap which is a wonderful spot to stop by, and you can have a good hiking
 
adventure along the Bald Mountain Trail.
If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Black Mountain Campground. Mount Mitchell State Park is a good spot; if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Catawba River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. All our national parks are pleasant places to go to, and Blue Ridge Parkway is no exception, and Toe River - South is a glorious whitewater spot close by. Some activities here at Black Mountain Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do.
This campground is a beautiful location to stop at. You can run the rapids of Curtis Creek in close proximity to Black Mountain Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Wolf Laurel. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! Visit Little Mountain Creek if you're here at Black Mountain Campground, and here at Black Mountain Campground you can catch a glimpse of Little Mountain. Ok, time to go camping, don't you agree? Black Mountain Campground in North Carolina is a great selection.
At Black Mountain Campground all through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Black Mountain Campground overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
