Balsam Mountain Campground, Great Smoky Mountains, North Carolina

  Everybody must go camping for a couple of days sometimes, and Balsam Mountain Campground is a perfect local campground if you happen to be in North Carolina. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Balsam Mountain Campground called the Palmer Creek Trail.
All the pleasant local attractions in close proximity and so much stuff to do will beyond doubt have you coming back again and again. This camp ground is one of the brilliant sites to camp here in the Great Smoky Mountains.

National Park is worthwhile. As if Balsam Mountain Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay for a while.
Just can't get enough of the Great Smoky Mountains. A glorious spot in the vicinity of Balsam Mountain Campground is Polls Gap, and delightful hiking is available along the Baxter Creek Trail. Going for a hike on the Caldwell Fork Trail is always a great adventure, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Maggie Valley for sure.

with the people of Maggie Valley. Summertime highs at Balsam Mountain Campground usually tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
