West Shore Campground, Montana

  A lot of folks camp here to be in the vicinity of West Shore State Park. This campground has so many cool things to offer. Going for a hike on the Noisy Creek Notch Trail is always a great adventure, and you're sure to run into some good people from Lakeside here.

Creek Trail.
West Shore State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at West Shore Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River offers some nice whitewater. There is so much exciting stuff in close proximity to West Shore Campground, and if you're trying to find a great spot to go for a weekend of camping, this is a splendid selection. All the glorious local attractions close at hand and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back many times.

not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and the slopes of Blacktail Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Swan River, and Mount Johns is painless to spot from West Shore Campground.
This sector of Montana is always a delight to explore through camping season. The Alpine Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near West Shore Campground, and a tour to Glacier National Park is recommended. Not much rain falls here at West Shore Campground; all through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
Near West Shore Campground you stumble on the Jimmie Ridge Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail; a quick spree to Forrey Creek is definitely a great idea. High temperatures at West Shore Campground through the summertime months are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at West Shore Campground. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored.
