The natural beauty at this primitive campground is glorious, and at this primitive campground you could get a more enjoyable wilderness experience than you would get at a more civilized campground. The nice local attractions and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back again and again. A lot of folks choose Vigilante Campground so they can       go to Helena National Forest. There aren't lots of amenities at Vigilante Campground as it is a primitive campground. It's been too much time since you went outside, you have to get out of the house; Vigilante Campground in Montana   is a good choice. This camp ground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Big Belt Mountains. Montana is a good outdoors state. Some activities here at Vigilante Campground are hiking, fishing, playing golf, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. For all you boaters, Kim's Marina RV Park and Store is a good marina nearby, and a great site is Swamp Gulch. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place!       The Big Belt Mountains is unbeatable! Near Vigilante Campground you stumble on the Vigilante National Recreation Trail which is a good hiking trail, and there are plenty of folks from Helena here at Vigilante Campground. This is such   a fun place for a campground. Golf can be played at Norwegian Wood Golf Course, and going for a hike on the Hanging Valley National Recreation Trail is always a pleasant adventure. A lake close by is Canyon Ferry Lake, and time spent at Black Sandy Beach is always perfect.
