Not much precipitation falls here at Tom Miner Campground; the month with most of the rain is May while February is mostly the driest month. Yellowstone River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby; a wonderful view of scenic Canary Bird Peak is available. The Divide Trail offers hiking at its best; lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Ramshorn Lake. Lots of fun is at this campground. | |

The skiing at Big Sky is delightful; why not take a little trip to Dry Creek since you're here. You completely should like Tom Miner Campground. If the weather is brilliant here at Tom Miner Campground, you can go for a hike along the Red Rock Trail, and a great site like Gallatin
National Forest is too brilliant to leave out. With such a vast number of things to do in Montana you'll never get bored. At Tom Miner Campground during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the
50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Tom Miner Campground descend into the 10's. This campground has it all. Paddling on Gallatin River is so much fun, and Tom Miner Campground is right by the Fawn Pass Trail.
