Thompson Falls Campground, Bitterroot Range, Montana

  This camp ground is situated in the pretty Bitterroot Range. Summertime at Thompson Falls Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Thompson Falls Campground temperatures sink to the 10's. Good hiking is available along the Water Hill Trail, and don't leave without popping by Thompson Falls State Forest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. There are good places to look at along
    the Slide Rock Mountain Trail, and Vermilion River is a fine whitewater spot nearby.
Thompson Falls Campground gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is the month with the least moisture. Take a little journey to Clear Creek while
you're here at Thompson Falls Campground; Lookout Pass is a very popular ski area in close proximity. So many local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came.

Lolo National Forest is worth stopping at if you're at Thompson Falls Campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Joe River.

If you like the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. A number of folks camp here to be close to Lolo National Forest.
This campground is so magnificent. Go for a hike on the Cataract Creek Trail, and don't leave Thompson Falls Campground without first going for a hike along the Miller Creek Trail. There are so many entertaining things to do near Thompson Falls Campground, and it is one of lots of great campgrounds in this area.
