  Some people stay at this campground for the purpose of being close to Glacier National Park. Not much rain falls here at Teakettle Campground; through December this area sees the most snow, and April meanwhile is the driest month.
There are glorious places to look at along the Doris Creek Trail, and a visit to Whitefish Lake State Park is a tremendous idea. This campground is so great. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Teakettle Campground; Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail is a magnificent local trail; you can run the rapids of Flathead
    River - Middle Fork.
Teakettle Campground is not far at all from Columbia Falls. So many local attractions and the fine variety of outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back time and again.
Good hiking is available along the Alpine Trail; if you don’t have
a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. This segment of Montana has a great deal of outdoors activities available. A campground like this is too great to miss. Gotta ski! Whitefish is a tremendous place to do that; let's not forget Cedar Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here.
Teakettle Campground is prized by the people from Columbia Falls. A nice place for whitewater paddling near Teakettle Campground is Swan River, and Glacier National Park is a tremendous place nearby.
 
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Teakettle Campground. Going for a hike on the Columbia Mountain Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and not far from Teakettle Campground you'll discover Morning Slough which is a delightful lake. Don't leave Teakettle Campground without first going for a hike along the Micho Trail; visiting Lone Pine State Park is a splendid thing to do.
Throughout the summertime, highs usually are in the 70's at Teakettle Campground. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Teakettle Campground all through the wintertime generally fall into the 0's. Some of the things you can do here at Teakettle Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so you won’t get bored.
