  All year is a delightful time in the Lewis Range if you love the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork; great hiking is available along the Snake Creek Loop. This campground has so much. There are some good whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork; if you're here why not check out Marias Pass.
Some of the things you can do here at Summit Campground are fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. It is very dehydrated here at Summit Campground regularly; of all
    the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A lot of fun is at this campground. Flathead National Forest is worth a visit if you're at Summit Campground.
One of the main traits of the surroundings
of Summit Campground is Flattop Mountain, and close by you find the Summit Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. With so much stuff to do in Montana you'll never get bored. There is so much entertaining stuff to do near Summit Campground, and many people enjoy coming here to escape.

The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Summit Campground during the wintertime typically descend into the 0's. So much cool stuff to do here in the Lewis Range, too tremendous to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Ole Creek Trail.
