One of the main traits of the surroundings of Summit Campground is Flattop Mountain, and close by you find the Summit Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Ole Creek Trail.
