At Straight Creek Campground enjoyable stuff to do is bountiful, and what a great place for camping it is. This is a great campground. Hiking along the Elbow Pass Trail is nice fun, and why not head up to Teton Pass and strap some skis to your feet. into a kayak and hit Flathead River - South Fork. Straight Creek Campground is located in the Lewis Range. There's more to do close to Straight Creek Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored.
| This campground is so great. Going for a hike along the Cigarette Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. If you come at the right time of year, Blackfoot River - North Fork offers some good whitewater, and why not take a little spree to Benchmark Creek while you're here. Having a perfect time in the Lewis Range is trouble-free. Flathead National Forest is a pretty site any time of year, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Dry Fork Cabin Creek Trail. Campground regularly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Blackfoot River; while you're here you can take a hike along the Fairview
Trail. Through the months of summer highs here at Straight Creek Campground reach the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 30's while Straight Creek Campground nighttime low temperatures
during the wintertime are in the 10's. The magnificent selection of local attractions, and such a magnificent variety of outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back over and over. Just can't get enough of Straight Creek Campground. While staying at Straight Creek Campground you could always look at Wood Canyon; do take a hike on the Patrol Mountain Lookout Trail.
