| | Steel Creek Campground is a brilliant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Pioneer Mountains. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Pioneer Mountains. A trip to Beaverhead National Forest when you're here at Steel Creek Campground is never a bad idea, and Moose Meadows is a wonderful spot to check out. While dropping by this vicinity in Montana it's a good idea to go for a camping trip too.

Going for a hike on the Grassy Lake Trail is always a good adventure, and there's good hiking along the Copper Creek Trail. The great local attractions and such
a great variety of outdoors recreation are brilliant reasons to come. Not much precipitation falls here at Steel Creek Campground; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February.
