Spar Lake Campground, Cabinet Mountains, Montana   Quite a lot of amusing things to do near Spar Lake Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is glorious. A campground like this is too tremendous to miss. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yaak River; while you're here, you could explore Hiatt Creek. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing things to do in the Cabinet Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Kootenai River offers some fine whitewater, and the Goat Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Spar Lake Campground is a good place of normal     rain; all through January this area sees the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Spar Lake Campground with night lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spar Lake Campground. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Ross Creek Pack Trail. A visit to Montana is not complete without some camping. This is a tremendous campground. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Cabinet Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Spar Lake is in the neighborhood of Spar Lake Campground, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Crowell Trail. The good   variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are great motives to come. Be careful coming to Spar Lake Campground, you might not ever wanna go back home again. The top of Stanley Peak is easily seen from Spar Lake Campground, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Grouse Lake Trail. Have a great hiking adventure along the South Fork Ross Creek Trail, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Turner Mountain. There's more to do close to Spar Lake Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
