Going for a hike along the Stock Drive Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Tenderfoot Creek. The great variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back time and again. Skidway Campground is pretty dried out generally; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February.

Hiking along the South Fork Trail is brilliant fun; there's some flowing water nearby, Carl Creek is a stream you can visit while here.
