| | With such a great deal of things to do in Montana you'll never get bored. This camp ground is located in the pretty Absaroka Range. Some activities here at Sheridan Campground are whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.
This campground is a good site to visit. Take a hike on the Custer National Forest Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Red Lodge |
Mountain. Be careful coming to Sheridan Campground, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you're here at Sheridan Campground, do take a tour to Point of Rocks; going for a hike along the Morrison Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.

Don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Seeley Creek, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Woods Gulch is right next door to Sheridan Campground and is a glorious location; hiking along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is good fun.

Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Sheridan Campground; a tour to Buffalo Bill State Park rejuvenates the spirit.
If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. You can run the rapids
of Rock Creek in the vicinity of Sheridan Campground, and Cooney Reservoir State Park is a great location to take a look at. Lots of folks from Red Lodge come to Sheridan Campground, and if you've had enough of Sheridan Campground, Wild Bill Lake is close by.
