Red Lodge Mountain gets covered by an average of 21 feet of beautiful snow       every year on its 70 slopes. 62% of the 1,600 acres of skiable area at Red Lodge Mountain is beginner and intermediate, good for children and beginners. 38% of the slopes on the other hand are demanding and good for proficient skiers.   On nearby Rock Creek you come upon a grade II-IV segment of whitewater; the Lake Fork to Red Lodge section is 10 miles long. This section of Rock Creek is proposed for whitewater boaters of medium familiarity. Kayak paddling can turn risky, so check the situation previous to going.
