| | Throughout the days of summer highs here at Sheridan Campground get into the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sheridan Campground are in the 10's. Quite a lot of cool things to do right next door to Sheridan Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is fine. That right there is a load of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. There's fine hiking along the Morrison Trail; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This campground is so brilliant. Don't leave Sheridan
Campground without first going for a hike along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, and locations like Cooney Reservoir State Park are delightful to explore.
A spree to Point of Rocks in close proximity to Sheridan Campground is always a pleasant idea; Sheridan Campground
is not far at all from Red Lodge.
A campground like this is too brilliant to miss. Go for a hike on the Custer National Forest Trail. Sheridan Campground is typically a quite dehydrated place; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
