| | Several folks camp here for the purpose of being right next door to Henrys Lake State Park. This is truly a delightful campground. Interesting geology is available here; Madison Side is next to Rock Creek Campground; there are good places to explore along the Wapiti Creek Trail. So much enjoyable stuff near Rock Creek Campground; campgrounds like these are wonderful. We all need to go camping for a couple of days occasionally; Rock Creek Campground in Montana is just what you need. Go for a hike on the Wapiti Ridge Trail, and a perfect spot for whitewater |

| heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Madison River, and a visit to Henrys Lake State Park is a tremendous idea. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Montana. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Going for a hike on the Kirkwood Trail is always a great adventure, and Madison Slide is close at hand, and is a good site. Lake since you're here at Rock Creek Campground; it's close by, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Lightning Creek Trail. A tour to Harriman State Park when you're here at Rock Creek Campground is never a bad idea, and why not take a little journey to Rock Creek
if you're here. Big Sky has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and the Cutoff Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Rock Creek Campground, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through
the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rock Creek Campground are in the 10's. You can take a little visit to Earthquake Lake Dam while you're here at Rock Creek Campground. The good selection of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come.
