Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; you unquestionably ought to stop at Cooney Reservoir State Park since you're here. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek, and the Morrison Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby.
