Not much rain falls here at Palisades Campground; all through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. It's completely out of the question to run out of cool stuff to do close to Palisades Campground; spending time at this campground is enormously pleasant. lows are frequently in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Palisades Campground temperatures descend to the 10's. Palisades Campground is an old favorite with people in Red Lodge. Hit the slopes
| at Red Lodge Mountain in close proximity, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rock Creek. This campground is so nice. A spree to Cooney Reservoir State Park invigorates the spirit. Spending too much time inside got you down, Don't fret; Palisades Campground in Montana is a magnificent place to go. Buffalo Bill State Park is a delightful spot to go if you're at Palisades Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. but if it's for you then we recommend Rosebud Creek, and a perfect site nearby is Towne Gulch. If the weather is fine here at Palisades Campground, you can go for a hike along the Morrison Trail, and Towne Point is not far at all. There's just no way anybody can get bored here
at Palisades Campground. Take a side visit to Nichols Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some good whitewater. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so almost certainly you
want to stick around for a while. As long as you adore the outdoors you will adore Montana. Palisades Campground is not far at all from Red Lodge; going for a hike along the Custer National Forest Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
