Palisades Campground, Montana Custom Search   Palisades Campground is a campground pretty often visited by campers from Red Lodge. At Palisades Campground you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during May while February is commonly the driest month. The Custer National Forest Trail offers hiking at its best; you can hit the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain in the neighborhood. Float down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak; hiking along the Morrison Trail is nice fun. At this campground you will always have a delightful time. Palisades Campground is right by the     Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, and a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Cooney Reservoir State Park. It's not possible to run out of amusing things to do in the vicinity of Palisades Campground; scores of folks enjoy coming here to get away. Get drenched paddling on Rock Creek, and a tour to Buffalo Bill State Park is a good idea. This campground is so delightful. Do schedule some time to take a look at Towne Point near Palisades Campground if you have a chance; if you come at the right time of year, Rosebud Creek offers some fine whitewater. Alright, time to get out and breathe some fresh air, time to get out, and Palisades Campground, Montana is a splendid place for getting out. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Palisades Campground get into the 70's. For   the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Palisades Campground. It's not possible to get bored in Montana if you like the outdoors.
