The Solomon Ridge Trail is a glorious hiking trail next to Norton Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Butte Cabin Ridge Trail. Glide down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak, and close by you discover the Grizzly Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail.
Beavertail Hill State Park is both nice and pretty, and it's in the neighborhood of Norton Campground, and you could always
    look at Bear Gulch. Some folks camp here when going to Beavertail Hill State Park.
As if Norton Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Ranch Creek is near Norton Campground and is always a bliss to explore; get
yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River. This campground is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Clinton, and going for a hike on the Otters Hump Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
For the duration of the months of summer at Norton Campground temperatures are regularly in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Norton Campground.
