Lots of folks stay here to be near Whitefish Lake State Park. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Stillwater River; you can go for a hike on the Ralph Thayer Memorial Trail. It's been too long since you went outside, you have to get out of the house, and Moose Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in Montana.
When you're here at Moose Lake Campground it's always fun to stop at Whitefish Lake State Park; the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Coming to this campground is always a tremendous idea. Lone Pine State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit; a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Flathead River - Middle Fork.
What would winter be without some skiing at Whitefish. Montana has so much stuff to offer nature lovers.
