If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. The great people of Martin City like to hang out close by, and get soaked paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Summertime highs at Lost Johnny Campground regularly tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Lost Johnny Campground dipping
 
down into the 10's during winter nights. There's more to do close to Lost Johnny Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Lion Hill Gorge is a delightful location to go to nearby, and going for a hike on the Alpine Trail is always a magnificent adventure. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Lewis Range. A trip to Glacier National Park is recommended; there are good spots to look at along the Tongue Mountain Trail.
Good hiking is available along the Columbia Mountain Trail, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Jimmie Ridge Trail. You've been indoors for too much time, and Lost Johnny Campground in Montana is a fine place to go. It's completely out of the question to run out of amusing stuff to do close to Lost Johnny Campground; when you are here for a while you will feel like a new person.
Skiing at Big Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and you certainly ought to go to Wayfarers State Park if you're here.
