the 10's. A visit to Montana is not complete without some camping. Have a great hiking adventure along the Trapper Peak Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Big Sand Creek.

This campground is always a diversion. This is a popular place for people from Darby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail. The snow is delightful at Lost Trail Powder Mountain, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek.
But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Kootenai Creek is a glorious whitewater spot near Lick Creek Campground, and obviously Harlan Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Lakes? Sure, Shannon Lake is in the neighborhood, and Bitterroot National Forest is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit.
