There's absolutely no way to run out of fun things to do right next door to Lick Creek Campground; it is a very good campground.

Kootenai Creek is a glorious whitewater spot near Lick Creek Campground, and obviously Harlan Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Lakes? Sure, Shannon Lake is in the neighborhood, and Bitterroot National Forest is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit.
